Best local SEO companies for electricians in San Antonio.

Getlo, the Get Local Presence mascot
GETLO'S
FIELD NOTE

The map pack is a residential channel, so a commercial electrician buying map pack rankings is paying for half their business. Who does this work and what it costs.

Quick answer: If a meaningful share of your revenue is commercial, a local SEO retainer sold on map pack rankings is buying visibility for the minority of your business. The map pack is a residential channel. Commercial electrical is won on bid lists, with general contractors, property managers and facility managers, and none of that runs through Google Maps. Our own Keyword Planner data says the same thing without being asked: the most expensive term in our San Antonio electrical set is residential electricians san antonio at up to $101.27, and the qualifier residential is right there in the phrase. Savo Group specializes in electricians and publishes the lowest entry price in this entire series at around $1,000 monthly, Funnel Boost Media is the strongest agency headquartered here, and LocalMighty publishes a dedicated electrician guide. Below is a criteria based breakdown of who does this work, what it costs, and how to buy the right thing for the half of your business that Maps cannot reach.

Editorial disclosure. Get Local Presence publishes this list and appears in it at number three. We are not a neutral third party and we are not pretending to be one. Every other company named here is a real, independently operating business marketing local SEO or local search services to electrical contractors or home service trades, and none of them paid for placement or reviewed this page before publication. We placed ourselves where our model honestly competes rather than at the top, and where a competitor publishes something we do not, we say so by name.

How we built this list, and what we deliberately ignored

Three filters produced the eight entries below.

The company had to do local search rather than general SEO. Local search runs on the Google Business Profile, categories, proximity, reviews and citation consistency, and those are different levers from ranking a page organically.

The company had to work with electricians or home service trades.

The company had to be reachable for San Antonio work.

We ignored directory rankings agencies pay into and any promise of a specific map pack position, since the pack is computed partly from where the searcher is standing and there is no single position to occupy.

One carry over finding worth repeating. RYNO Strategic Solutions and Blue Corona have merged, and still appear as separate options elsewhere.

The map pack is a residential channel

This is the argument that should shape what you buy, and no local SEO proposal will raise it because raising it shrinks the sale.

Local search works because a person with a problem opens their phone, searches, sees three profiles and calls one. That describes a homeowner whose breaker will not reset. It does not describe how commercial electrical work is awarded.

A general contractor assembling subs for a build does not search Google Maps for electricians. A property manager with a portfolio of buildings has a vendor list. A facility manager renewing a service agreement is working from procurement, an existing relationship or a bid invitation. Those decisions run through bid lists, prequalification packets, insurance and bonding review, safety records and referrals from other trades. A five star Google profile is not irrelevant to them, but it is a background check rather than a discovery channel.

Our own Keyword Planner data says the same thing without being asked. In the San Antonio DMA, the most expensive term in our entire electrical set is residential electricians san antonio at 140 monthly searches with bids reaching $101.27. The qualifier is in the phrase. Advertisers paying the top of that auction are competing for residential work specifically, and they are paying more for it than for any generic electrical term we measured.

So the honest question to put to any vendor on this page is simple, and most will not have thought about it. What percentage of our revenue is commercial, and what does your program do for that portion?

If you are ninety percent residential service, this whole objection is academic and you should buy map pack work aggressively. If you are half commercial, a retainer priced against map pack outcomes is being measured on half your business, and you need either a vendor who addresses both or a clear agreement that you are buying residential lead generation and handling commercial separately.

What commercial actually needs from a web presence is different in kind: project scale and delivery method stated plainly, bonding capacity, safety record and experience modifier, licensing tier, the industrial and new construction work you have actually completed, and a site that reads credibly to a procurement officer rather than to a homeowner. That is closer to the general contractor problem we covered in the companion series than to the plumbing one.

The small market math, and why category selection matters more here

Electrical is a smaller search market in this metro than the trades around it, and that changes the arithmetic.

Electrician san antonio and its variants carry roughly 1,300 monthly searches at a top of page bid of $9.73 to $60.07. In the companion lists in this series we measured plumber san antonio at 4,400 and the ac repair cluster at 2,400 in the same metro. An electrical contractor is competing for about a third of the plumbing demand.

Three map pack slots against 1,300 searches is still a strong ratio, and it is why this work is worth doing. But the smaller pool has a consequence most vendors will not mention: you cannot afford to be filtered out of any segment, which makes your Google Business Profile category selection more consequential than it is for a higher volume trade.

The primary category determines which searches your profile is eligible to appear in at all. It is a filter, not a label. Electrician, electrical installation service, solar energy contractor, generator shop and similar categories all describe plausible versions of an electrical business and produce different eligibility. A plumber with 4,400 monthly searches to work with can survive a suboptimal category. At 1,300 searches, being ineligible for a segment you actually serve is a larger proportional loss.

Check yours before you hire anyone. It costs nothing, it takes two minutes, and if a vendor's audit does not raise it in the first conversation they have skipped the cheapest available improvement.

One more figure from the same data worth understanding. Electrical companies in san antonio carries about 1,000 monthly searches at only $3.30 to $16.63, roughly a quarter of what electrician san antonio commands with similar volume. That gap almost always signals different intent behind similar words. People typing electrician are looking to hire one. People typing electrical companies are often researching, comparing, or looking for their utility provider. Do not let a vendor count the second group as your addressable market.

The statistics, and a pattern we have now documented five times

You will be told that Google Business Profile signals account for roughly 36 percent of local pack rankings.

In the companion list on plumbing we found the same category of figure published as the profile at around 32 percent, reviews around 20 percent and on page signals around 15 percent. In the HVAC list we found a claim that 52 percent of map pack ranking comes from the profile and reviews together. And across this series the local pack click share has now appeared at nearly 50 percent, 42 percent and 44 percent from three different agency sources in the same year.

Google publishes neither click share nor ranking weights. Every one of those numbers is a practitioner estimate derived from someone's own client data, and they disagree with each other by margins wide enough to matter.

None of that makes them useless. The directions are consistent across every source we have checked: the profile is the heaviest lever you control, reviews are second, and the website supports both. That is genuinely actionable. The specific percentages are not measurements of your market and should not be the basis of a budget.

The review figures are worth more attention than the weights. The consistent finding is that a large majority of consumers read reviews before choosing a local business, that the share who always read them has been climbing year over year, and that recency counts as much as volume. Recency is the actionable half. A profile with forty reviews where the newest is fourteen months old reads worse to a human than a profile with fifteen where the newest is from last week, and it likely reads worse to the ranking system too.

1. Savo Group

Savo Group is a family owned, veteran owned digital marketing agency focused on electrical contractors, with founder and SEO director Michael Rupe working in SEO since 1999 and the firm describing more than 27 years of combined SEO experience. Named client: Newman Electric.

What it is genuinely good at. Three things put it first. It specializes in electricians rather than treating them as one of a dozen trades. It states plainly that it works across residential service, commercial, industrial and new construction, which is the distinction this entire page is about and almost nobody else names. And it publishes pricing, stating programs start around $1,000 monthly depending on market size and competitiveness. That is the lowest published entry point we have found across every trade in this series, and combined with the small search market described above it makes the arithmetic workable for a smaller electrical contractor who cannot justify a $2,500 retainer against 1,300 monthly searches. Its published scope covers the right things: profile optimization, service and service area pages, schema and AI friendly content, citations, review generation systems and monthly reporting.

Where to look closely. Headquarters is not published, which is unusual and worth asking about directly. Only one client is named, so ask for two more references, ideally one commercial. Around $1,000 monthly is an entry point rather than a quote, so ask what is included at that level and what a competitive metro like San Antonio actually costs. Ask specifically what the commercial portion of the program consists of, since naming commercial is not the same as having a plan for it.

Best fit. An electrical contractor who wants trade specialization, published pricing and a vendor that at least acknowledges commercial work exists.

2. Funnel Boost Media

Funnel Boost Media is the most credentialed agency headquartered in San Antonio, founded in 2012 by Ryan Duncan, veteran owned, with home services among its core verticals.

What it is genuinely good at. Demonstrated rather than claimed capability. Its own domain carries a domain authority of 34 with more than 2,600 referring domains and it ranks organically for the competitive terms it sells, which is the most honest credential an agency can offer. Forbes named it to a list of America's best digital marketing companies. Local presence matters for the category question above, because someone who works in this market knows which electrical searches actually produce calls here rather than guessing from a national template.

Where to look closely. Electrical is one trade inside home services, one vertical among several. Ask how many electrical profiles they currently manage, ask what primary category they would set and why, and ask directly what their program does for commercial revenue. Pricing is not published.

Best fit. A primarily residential electrical contractor that wants the strongest local track record and a vendor in the same city.

3. Get Local Presence

We treat local search as one of three things inside a single monthly plan alongside the website and AI visibility, rather than as a standalone retainer.

What we are genuinely built for. The commercial and residential split is a website problem before it is a profile problem, and that is where our model helps. Map pack visibility lands on a page, and the page a homeowner needs after tapping a profile is not the page a general contractor needs when checking whether to invite you to bid. Both have to exist and stay current, and the commercial side in particular goes stale invisibly, since bonding capacity, safety record and completed project scale all change and nobody updates them because no homeowner ever asks. We operate the site, so both halves stay maintained. Plans run from $499 to $999 monthly, no contract, rebuild included.

Where we are honestly weaker. Savo Group specializes in electrical contractors and we do not, and it publishes an entry price below ours for local search alone. If pure local SEO is all you want and you want it from an electrician specialist, that is a legitimate reason to choose them. We also do not integrate with field service software the way RYNOtrax does. And we do not do electrical work, so technical content needs your master electrician to check it.

Best fit. An electrical contractor who wants the profile, the reviews and both halves of the website moving as one program at a predictable cost.

4. LocalMighty

LocalMighty is a San Antonio local SEO agency with more than ten years of local search experience, publishing a dedicated guide to local SEO for electricians and specializing in Google Business Profile optimization alongside GEO, AEO and AI search.

What it is genuinely good at. Local presence combined with a published electrician specific point of view, which is a better combination than either alone. Its focus on the map pack as the objective is the correct target for the residential half of an electrical business, where most demand resolves in Maps without the customer visiting a website. Treating Maps and AI visibility as one connected program is mechanically accurate, since both draw on the same profile completeness, review flow and citation consistency.

Where to look closely. It advertises measurable growth within 60 days or the next month free. Ask exactly what metric that covers and who measures it. Ask what primary category they would set given the small market argument above. Ask what the program does for commercial revenue, since the published material is residential oriented. Pricing, team size and client count are not published.

Best fit. A residential focused San Antonio electrician who wants a local vendor concentrating on map pack performance.

5. Comrade Digital Marketing

Comrade Digital Marketing operates from 332 S Michigan Avenue, Suite 900 in Chicago, founded in 2008 and led by co-founder and CEO Ivan Vislavskiy, with additional locations including Austin, and serving home services contractors including electricians.

What it is genuinely good at. Verifiable credentials and breadth of capability. It states 218 or more clients with a 4.8 rating and Inc. 5000 recognition, and its range covers local SEO, SEO, paid search, web design, content and social alongside AI search optimization. The breadth matters for a contractor with a commercial division, because the work that reaches procurement audiences, meaning content, paid targeting and reputation, is different from map pack work and a single vendor able to do both avoids the split. The Austin office means a Texas presence and a plausible in person relationship.

Where to look closely. Multi industry rather than trades exclusive, so ask how many electrical contractors are active and ask to see two. Team size and pricing are not published and no clients are named, so ask for references. Ask what portion of the program is map pack versus everything else.

Best fit. An electrical contractor with both residential and commercial revenue that wants one agency covering more than local search.

6. Netpeak US

Netpeak US has operated since 2006 across multiple industries including e-commerce, IT, healthcare, field services and home services covering electricians, HVAC and movers, offering SEO and local SEO, paid media, reputation management, digital analytics and generative engine optimization, with international offices including Bulgaria and Eastern Europe.

What it is genuinely good at. Longevity since 2006 and an unusually broad technical range including generative engine optimization as a named service, which means the AI visibility work can be added later without changing vendors. Reputation management and digital analytics as distinct services rather than bundled afterthoughts is a good sign for a trade where review recency matters and where measuring which half of the business a lead came from is genuinely difficult.

Where to look closely, and this is the main caution. The US entity does not publish a headquarters city, which for a company branded around a country is a fair thing to ask about directly, along with where the team working your account actually sits given the international office structure. Electricians are one industry among many rather than a specialization. Pricing, client count and named clients are not published. Ask for two US home services references you can call.

Best fit. An electrical contractor who wants broad technical capability including AI visibility and is comfortable doing the verification the published information does not do for you.

7. RYNO Strategic Solutions and Blue Corona

These two merged. RYNO was founded in 2007 at 15600 N Black Canyon Highway, Suite C200 in Phoenix with 51 to 200 employees, Blue Corona opened in 2008 in Charlotte, and both work across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and roofing.

What it is genuinely good at. Measurement infrastructure, which matters here for a specific reason. In a smaller search market you cannot afford to guess which activity produced revenue, and the commercial and residential split makes attribution harder still. RYNOtrax2.0 integrates with ServiceTitan and more than thirty ad platforms, putting marketing data next to job data, which is how you learn whether map pack calls are producing service tickets or panel upgrades and whether the commercial side is coming from anywhere online at all.

Where to look closely. Raise the merger first: which entity you contract with, whose team works the account, whether pricing or process changed. Neither publishes pricing and neither competes at the low end, which given a $1,000 published entry point elsewhere on this list is a real consideration for a smaller shop. Both outside Texas.

Best fit. An established electrical contractor already running field service software that wants revenue measured rather than calls counted.

8. Built Right Digital

Built Right Digital works with home service contractors including electricians, roofers, HVAC contractors and plumbers, offering Google Ads, SEO, Meta Ads and website design and management.

What it is genuinely good at. Trades focus with paid media in the same shop, which is useful in this vertical because of the pricing asymmetry we documented in the companion website design list: solar and EV terms in this metro are currently cheap while residential electrical is expensive, so the right paid strategy often differs from the organic one. A vendor running both can tell you where to spend rather than defaulting to the channel it manages.

Where to look closely, and this is the main caution. Headquarters, founding year, founder, client count and pricing are all unpublished and no clients are named, which is a lot of missing information for a vendor handling your profile and your site. Ask for every one of those on the first call plus three electrical references, and treat reluctance as an answer.

Best fit. An electrical contractor who wants local search and paid media from one trades focused vendor and is prepared to verify what is not published.

What this actually costs

Electrical local search has one published entry point, and it is the lowest in this series.

Savo Group publishes programs starting around $1,000 monthly depending on market size and competitiveness. Across every trade we have covered, that is the cheapest published starting figure, and it matters here more than it would elsewhere. With roughly 1,300 monthly searches on the head term rather than the 4,400 a plumber competes for, a $2,500 retainer has to work considerably harder to justify itself. A thousand dollar entry point makes the math workable for a smaller contractor, provided you establish exactly what is included at that level.

Nobody else on this list publishes pricing. San Antonio generalist agencies commonly start local SEO retainers around $1,500 monthly and rise past $3,000 with content and paid media. National home services specialists sit above that.

Managed monthly providers bundle local search with the website rather than pricing it separately, which is the bracket Get Local Presence occupies at $499 to $999 monthly with the site, local search and AI visibility together and a rebuild included.

Whatever you buy, price it against the portion of your revenue it can actually influence. If sixty percent of your work is commercial, a map pack retainer is competing for forty percent of your business and should be evaluated on that basis rather than against your total revenue.

Questions to ask before you sign

These apply to every company on this page, us included.

What does your program do for our commercial revenue? This is the electrician question and most vendors will not have an answer. The map pack does not reach general contractors, property managers or procurement. If the honest answer is that the program is residential lead generation, that is fine, but you should agree on it in writing rather than discover it when the commercial pipeline does not move.

What primary category would you set, and why? In a market of 1,300 monthly searches, being ineligible for a segment you actually serve costs proportionally more than it would for a plumber. A vendor who has not looked has not audited anything.

Who owns the Google Business Profile? It must live on an account you control with the vendor added as a manager. The profile carries the reviews. Get this in writing before work starts.

How do reviews get requested, and how do we keep them recent? Recency counts as much as volume, and a profile whose newest review is over a year old reads badly to a human and probably to the ranking system. Ask for the mechanism, not the intention.

Where did that statistic come from? When you hear that the profile is 36 percent of ranking weight, ask for the source. We have found that figure published at 32 percent elsewhere and the local pack click share published at three different numbers by three agencies in the same year.

What are we buying at your entry price? Particularly relevant where a published figure exists. Around $1,000 monthly in a competitive metro buys fewer hours than the same figure in a small market, so ask what is in scope for San Antonio specifically.

Frequently asked questions

Does local SEO work for commercial electrical contractors?+

Not the way it works for residential, and this is the question to put to every vendor on this page. The map pack is a discovery channel for someone with an immediate problem, which describes a homeowner and not a procurement process. General contractors assembling subs, property managers with vendor lists and facility managers renewing service agreements work from bid invitations, prequalification, insurance and bonding review, safety records and referrals from other trades. A strong profile functions as a background check for them rather than as discovery. Our own keyword data agrees without being asked: the most expensive term in our San Antonio electrical set is residential electricians san antonio at up to $101.27, with the qualifier right there in the phrase.

What should a commercial electrical contractor's site show instead?+

Things a procurement officer needs rather than things a homeowner needs. Project scale and delivery method stated plainly, bonding capacity, safety record and experience modifier, licensing tier, and the industrial and new construction work you have actually completed with enough detail to establish that you operate at that level. That is closer to how a general contractor's site has to work than to how a plumbing site works. It also decays invisibly, because bonding capacity and safety records change and nobody updates them since no homeowner ever asks, which is an argument for a site somebody maintains rather than one built once.

Why does the Google Business Profile category matter more for electricians?+

Because the search market is smaller, so being filtered out of a segment costs proportionally more. Electrician san antonio and its variants carry roughly 1,300 monthly searches, against 4,400 for plumber san antonio and 2,400 for the ac repair cluster in the same metro. The primary category is a filter rather than a label: it determines which searches your profile is eligible to appear in at all, and electrician, electrical installation service, solar energy contractor and generator shop all produce different eligibility. A plumber with 4,400 searches can survive a suboptimal category. At 1,300 you cannot. Check yours before hiring anyone, since it costs nothing.

How much does electrician local SEO cost in San Antonio?+

Savo Group publishes programs starting around $1,000 monthly depending on market size and competitiveness, which is the lowest published entry point across every trade in this series and matters here because a smaller search market makes an expensive retainer harder to justify. Nobody else on this list publishes pricing. San Antonio generalist agencies commonly start around $1,500 monthly and rise past $3,000 with content and paid media, and national specialists sit above that. Managed monthly providers bundle local search with the website, which is the bracket Get Local Presence occupies at $499 to $999 monthly with a rebuild included. Price whatever you buy against the portion of revenue it can actually influence.

Are the ranking weight percentages agencies quote accurate?+

They are estimates that disagree with each other, and we have now documented the pattern across five cells in this series. You will hear that Google Business Profile signals are roughly 36 percent of local pack rankings. In the plumbing version of this list we found the profile published at around 32 percent with reviews at 20 percent, and in the HVAC version a claim that the profile and reviews together account for 52 percent. The local pack click share has appeared at nearly 50 percent, 42 percent and 44 percent from three agencies in the same year. Google publishes neither figure. The directions are consistent and useful. The specific numbers are not measurements of your market.

Do review recency and volume both matter?+

Recency is the half most contractors neglect. The consistent finding across sources is that a large majority of consumers read reviews before choosing a local business, that the share who always read them keeps climbing year over year, and that recency counts as much as volume. In practice that means a profile with forty reviews whose newest is fourteen months old reads worse to a human than a profile with fifteen whose newest is from last week, and it likely reads worse to the ranking system too. Ask any vendor for the review request mechanism rather than the intention, and specifically how requests keep firing when the office is busy.

Is the search market for electricians really smaller than for plumbers?+

Substantially, in this metro. Our Keyword Planner pull puts electrician san antonio and its variants at roughly 1,300 monthly searches, while the same method measured plumber san antonio at 4,400 and the ac repair cluster at 2,400. That is about a third of the plumbing demand. One nuance worth knowing: electrical companies in san antonio carries about 1,000 monthly searches but only $3.30 to $16.63 in bids, roughly a quarter of what electrician san antonio commands at similar volume, which usually signals different intent behind similar words. People searching electrician are hiring. People searching electrical companies are often researching or looking for their utility provider, so do not let a vendor count them as your addressable market.
